How a level works

Each level consists of three phases:

  1. Review: Flashcard-style browsing of words with audio pronunciation.
  2. New Words: Focused quiz introducing the level's new vocabulary.
  3. Validation: A mixed quiz testing cumulative retention to unlock the next level.

Daily review

Once a character is encountered in the quizzes, it's added to your daily review. The review uses spaced repetition to bring each character back at the right time, maximizing your chances of moving it into long-term memory. You can also set a daily notification so you never forget to review.
